Invest in Your Home: Maximising Resale Value

  1. Get your paintbrush out. Nobody likes scruffy walls, and painting your walls is pretty much the simplest way to giving your home a new lease of life. Neutral colours are always best to ensure your property is attractive to all, however going for deeper and darker tones in select rooms can also help in adding character to your home, which also adds value.

2. Fresh bathrooms or upgraded kitchens. Not the cheapest of options, but these investments are super important in increasing the value of your home. There are many styles you can choose from, but in the UK the styles that never go out of date are the more traditional options. We recently completed a kitchen reno, and we simply wrapped the cabinet doors, and they look incredible!

3. Don't overlook essential repairs. As much as new bathrooms and kitchens will increase the aesthetic appeal of your home, it will not overlook any major or essential repairs that are required, i.e. mould removal or clearing blocked drains.

4. Professional property staging. Hire us! We've got you covered, and can stage your property if you need a quick decor upgrade to increase the appeal.

5. It starts at the door. Who knew how important front doors were? Well it really is the first impression of your home, so we would suggest investing in a welcoming doorway that let's visitors know this is a home they want to be in. Though we also suggest increasing the security of your doors, also encouraging a safe home.
