We're looking forward to all 2025 has to offer - here's some of our colour predictions on what's going to be hot across interiors in the new year.
Retro-Inspired Warm Colors
Nostalgic shades like mustard yellow, burnt orange, and avocado green (modernized with softer tones), will return as a nod to 70s and 80s aesthetics, but with a contemporary twist. We're likely to see people experiment with limewash paints in these exciting colours.
Terracotta and Sunbaked Neutrals
The warmth of sunbaked earth tones—like terracotta, rust, and clay, is making a strong comeback. These hues exude a sense of nostalgia while complementing modern design elements. Use them on walls, textiles, or ceramic décor for a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
Dark Muted Reds
Oxblood and deep merlot are the deep muted reds with rich, sophisticated hues that are set to be trending all 2025! They will be trendy tones, adding warmth and depth to any space, making them ideal for statement walls, velvet furnishings, or accent decor. Perfect for creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere, they pair beautifully with warm neutrals, brass accents, and natural textures like leather or wood.
Cool, Muted Blues and Greens
Reflecting biophilic design and a connection to water and the outdoors, these colors offer serenity. Shades like baby blue, misty teal, eucalyptus green, and stormy blue will be popular.
